Map Profile

You can add a map search to your Saved Searches list in one of two formats:

  • Rectangular search - saves all of the records of the selected record type that apply to the area currently shown on the map.
  • Circular search - saves all of the records of the selected record type that apply to the area within a specified radius shown within a circle.

You can preview the circular search that will be saved by selecting a proximity distance from the drop down and clicking the show on map checkbox.

Measuring

You can measure features on the map using the measurement tool which allows you to measure area and distances. You can also drop a point on the map to view its longitude and latitude.

Note: the measurement tool is for indicative purposes only. It is to be used only to give an idea to users of the distance between objects or area of an object. It does not define legal boundaries nor can it be used for dispute purposes.
